Important information

Everything is dishwasher and microwave safe, except for the handmade cake stands.

All the handmade pottery is made by Linda in her studio in west London. All the manufactured pottery is made to Linda's designs.

The porcelain clay is mixed in Stoke-on-Trent. It is fired to a high temperature in electric kilns and resists chipping or cracking.
The glazes are made in the studio and contain no lead or cadmium.
Glaze materials: feldspar, quartz, kaolin, calcium carbonate, dolomite, and borax frit from CTM potters supplies. Colourants: small amounts of rutile, copper oxide, nickel oxide, cobalt oxide, and tin oxide.

  • Today I’m working on the layouts for my book Emmanuel Cooper Glazes, which will be published on 14 January 2027 with an accompanying exhibition at Contemporary Ceramics London from 12-23 January. This is one of his jug forms with a crater glaze and black slip in the V&A museum in London. The test tiles he made for the educational display in the ceramics galleries have recently been formally accessioned to the @vamuseum collection. My book on his glazes is now available for pre-order from online bookshops @bloomsburypublishing

  • Happy Earth Day! These are some of my latest pots inspired by lichens. Lichens are amazing colonisers of rocks and can survive in extreme conditions. They help regulate surface temperature and prepare barren rock surfaces for mosses and plants to grow.

  • One of the best parts of travelling to teach glaze workshops is the opportunity to have a holiday afterwards. This was my fourth year teaching in Malaga and staying at Carihuela beach. Thank you @eltallerdeceramica.artcentre , I’m looking forward to coming back. We took a three hour bus journey through the mountains to Ronda, which has an amazing bridge crossing a ravine. It was also the location of the bull ring in the Seven Dials mystery.
